Isabel Granada's Husband Arnel Cowley Weeps As Her Remains Arrive In Manila


Actress Isabel Granada started her show business career in the 1980s, gaining fame as a teen star when she joined the popular talent and long-time show of the late German Moreno “That’s Entertainment.”



She passed away in Doha, Qatar at age 41 last Saturday, November 4, after she had suffered from a brain hemorrhage and aneurysm that affected her heart.

On Thursday morning, November 9, Isabel’s remains arrived in Manila. Her husband, Arnel Cowley weeps as his wife’s remains arrived in the country from Doha, Qatar.





Photos showed Philippine Air Force draping the Philippine flag on top of Isabel’s casket. The actress, who served as airwoman second class, was given full military honors by the Philippine Air Force.


Her husband Arnel Cowley told reporters: “We did things together, we traveled together…Now that she’s gone, I really don’t know what I’m going to do pero somehow I’m going to try to push through. She was a loving wife, a caring person. She’s always giving time to people and she’s just a people’s person. Very loving…”


Isabel’s son, Hubert Thomas Jericho Granada Aguas, and ex-husband, Geryk Genasky Aguas, were also at the airport for the arrival of the remains.








The wake will be held at Santuario de San Jose Parish in Greenhills East Village, Mandaluyong.




Public viewing will be held on November 10 and November 11 from 10 AM to 5 PM only. Cremation of Granada’s remains is scheduled on Sunday after a final Mass.
